"Malen macht die Welt bunter und die Seele leichter" - so lautet das Motto eines geförderten Projektes des SkF Mannheim. Während der einjährigen Laufzeit setzen sich kunstinteressierte Klient*innen beim gemeinsamen Besuch von Ausstellungen nicht nur mit Kunst auseinander. Vielmehr werden sie selbst aktiv, indem sie verschiedene Techniken der bildenden Kunst kennenlernen und eigene Kunstwerke schaffen. Diese werden dann im Rahmen einer Vernissage präsentiert.
Ein nachhaltiges Konzept soll das Babyausstattungslager in Waldkirch bekommen. Die Ehrenamtlichen werden dabei von hauptberuflichen Mitarbeiter*innen unterstützt. Das Konzept sieht vor, Klient*innen aktiv in das Angebot einzubinden. Eine Kooperation mit Kindertageseinrichtungen soll zum Erfolg beitragen. Ziel ist es, dass im ganzen Elztal bedürftige Familien zeitgemäß mit Baby- und Kleinkindausstattung versorgt werden können.
Unter der Überschrift "Raus geht’s" besuchen bei einem weiteren Projekt des SkF Mannheim Klient*innen gemeinsam kulturelle Veranstaltungen. Dabei erleben sie Gemeinschaft und pflegen Beziehungen. Indem sie die Unternehmungen gemeinsam planen, werden sie darin bestärkt, ihre Bedürfnisse und Wünsche angemessen zu äußern.
Der Projekttopf "Handeln für die Zukunft" des SkF Diözesanvereins fördert regelmäßig Projekte der elf Ortsvereine in der Erzdiözese Freiburg. Seit 2019 wurden 34 Projekte in Höhe von insgesamt rund 550.000 Euro gefördert.
